Melissa Veotsch

I'm doing what I love to do! Tell the stories of people living in Northwest, Ohio! I'm honored to say I've been working in television news in Toledo for over 20 years. 13ABC is filled with the best journalists I've met in my entire career. These people have a dedication and passion for telling the best stories with integrity and class. Who could ask for more!

My area of expertise has been in medical reporting, but I'm enjoying branching out into other areas of investigative reporting. Please feel free to forward me any story ideas you might have at melissa.voetsch@13abc.com.

Outside work, I cherish time with my 3 beautiful children, Madeline, Cole and Gabrielle. I also have the privilege of co-founding a volunteer organization called Agility Angels. We use trained therapy/agility dogs to help children with Autism develop social skills and self esteem. I also enjoy sitting on the board of trustees of the Great Lakes Collaborative for Autism, where we work to fill service gaps for families living with Autism. I'm proud to say I helped co-found Give Autism the Boot, a yearly collection with area rescue worker organizations that has raised almost a million dollars to date to fund programs serving our families and their beautiful children in our area!

I grew up in Buffalo, New York and graduated from the SI School of Journalism from Syracuse University.

Northwest Ohioans are wonderful people and I consider it an honor to live and work in such a beautiful part of this country!

Megan Malinowski

Media is the most powerful entity on earth to deliver a message to educate the public. Megan believes knowledge is power and learning promote growth.

Malcom X once said "Without education, you 're not going anywhere in the world". Megan believes that combining these two passions - media and education; following ambition and dreams; and continuing to use the power of written and spoken words provide the perfect outlet for the medical show "Time Waits for No One". Creative writiting, linguistics, and increasing global understanding have always empower me. Understanding different cultures and having the ability to step in the mind and context of culture has always been my passion. The different theories as why humans do what they do attract me because I am interestyed in how people act, live, and dream. Public Education, promoting a healthy lifestyle and achieving a better life are the goals we desire to achieve at Time Waits for no One.

We all want to change the world. I have humanitarian approach to life and love helping others. My goal is to utilize my educational background and the power of media to continuing helping others understand medical education and improve themselves and thier life.

Megan has a Bachelor of arts in Speech Communication from Miami University and a master's of arts in second language acquisition with a focus in adult morphological processing. Megan has worked over the last 15 years for several Fortune 500 Companies.

Fayez Kabour

“Educate, entertain, and inform”. These are the 3 words Lord Reith used to encapsulate the BBC and what Media means to me. I want to be able to use Media to inspire people, challenge normality, encourage society to evolve and be a catalyst for change.

I am fortunate to be able to help produce the medical show "Time Waits For No One". Through this experience I am able to continue inspire people, advance societal medical knowledge, and help promote better healt.

My primary responsibility is formulating the idea and organize the production process.

Also I was fortunate to be one of the producers for a the movie "The Citizen" to help promote the understanding of the American and Arab cultural differences, and raising awareness about our American value to adopt in the immigrant communities.

I recieved a Bachelor in Business from case Western Reserve, and currently I am working on my MBA at Western Governor University.

Nancy Bright

The media is central to the experience of modern life. It builds and connects cultures and communities locally, nationally and globally and shapes our views of the world, our identities and our fantasies. It makes up global industries, providing employment and shaping cultural, political and economic realities. However, public relations is about reputation, it is the discipline which looks after reputation, with the aim of obtaining understanding, support and influencing opinion and behaviour.

I have read that the Institute of Public Relations define it as the planned and sustained effort to establish and maintain goodwill and mutual understanding between an organization and its publics.

Jason Brainard

Media Production is essentially what I love to do most and I am sure it is something I would enjoy doing immensely.

I would enjoy learning more about media production, as I find media language very interesting. I would also like to build on my existing experiences in producing media in order to take it to a higher level, and become capable of creating something of much higher quality.

I also hope that in doing this type of TV SHows, "Time Waits For No One".  where I feel I have so much power and responsibility over so many people. You can change the way they think and feel, like a good story or work of art. Tiny things such as lighting and camera angle can make all the difference, and that what make our show different.
